A 5-minutes class-in-street campaign

A 5-minutes class-in-street campaign is a volunteer program started by Shahin Gavanji in Iran. In this campaign Shahin Gavanji runs a 5-minute class in the streets of Iran since 2010 in order to raise awareness of child abuse and promote preventive ways to save more than 8,000 child labors in Iran. The children are given free adequate information within 5 minutes about the dangers of child abuse.

CAMPAIGN'S GOALS

To raise awareness in poor street-children about self-protection, physicalsexual, and psychological maltreatment or neglect of a child or children especially by a parent or other caregiver.

OUR STYLE
In this program, children are given the cheese sandwich. While they are eating, we ask them to listen to our training and advice.

FUTURE PLAN
Our future plan is running and expanding this campaign broadly especially in a different regions of Iran to eliminate child labor.
